Description
With safety as a core value, the TSF Planner will provide technical and operational expertise to Mount Polley while becoming a valuable member of the Water and TSF Department. Reporting to the Water and TSF Superintendent the TSF Planner will be responsible to administer programs, systems, and practices that result in the safest possible working environment and place safety as the highest priority and ensuring mining occurs in the most environmentally sound manner.

Qualifications
- Two to Five years of experience in mining operations, tailings management or technical professional setting (equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered).
- Diploma in Mining or Civil
- Degree in Mine Engineering preferred Previous related mining experience will be an asset but is not a requirement, other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong work ethic, communication, and organizational skills with ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of computer software applications and capabilities as related to work requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with the use of instrument monitoring, data acquisition and computing instruments.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license from the Province of British Columbia.

Four 10-hour days of work followed by three days of rest.
